When corporate sign specialist Corporate Sign Systems needed a sign company to handle a premier project for one of its clients, Pepsi Americas, they turned to American Sign Factory to get the job done. This project posed a significant challenge as it called for the hoisting of two 14’ diameter circular Pepsi Americas’ logos over 14 stories to the roof of Pepsi America’s new Schaumburg, Illinois headquarters. From there, the logos then had to be hoisted another 25’ to the top of a mechanical building where they would ultimately be mounted. Tackling this installation required significant forethought into the engineering of the sign to create the simplest mounting method while maintaining the structural integrity of the sign.
